Dyno Testing

All engines built by Mason's Racing Engines are run on our on-site SF902 Super Flow Dyno. For quality, reliability, and peak performance, Mason's Racing offers a complete engine dyno system with trouble-shooting and consultation services. Our engine dynamometer is capable of testing virtually any type of performance engine and is equipped with extensive data collection systems. Our test cell is equipped with the state-of-the-art Superflow 902. The Superflow 902 system provides extremely accurate and repeatable engine testing. The test cell and equipment allow for a variety of test plans to be conducted, including single component short-term tests and endurance testing of complete engine systems.

Engines first go through a break-in process, then all valves are adjusted to cam manufacturer's specifications.

The oiling system we use is a remote Oberg Filter and HP6 Canister Filter. After break-in and during engine tuning, the Oberg is observed for any abnormal wear (metal, bearing material, etc.).

The Accusistion System consists of the Wyndyn software, air and fuel turbines and the Innovate lambda sensors.

Engines are tuned for maximum torque and horsepower output. Timing is adjusted and recorded, as well as carburetor jetting. Customer is allowed to view process, if wanted.

Our dyno room has been certified by Superflow and our staff have been trained and certified on-site.

All printouts are available upon request. Also, engine pulls can be burnt on a CD for customer to replay on computer.

All engines are leak down tested before removal form Dyno to assure complete break-in using a dual gauge leak down tester.
